HCBS-AMH
HCBS – AMH stands for Home and Community-Based Services for Adult Mental Health. It is a Texas Medicaid program that provides long-term services and supports for adults living with serious mental health conditions, helping them remain in community settings rather than in institutional care.
The goal of HCBS – AMH services is to support recovery, stability, and independence by offering individualized assistance, skill-building, and community integration in the least restrictive environment possible.
