HCS – IDD (Group Home Services)
HCS – IDD stands for Home and Community-based Services for Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. It is a Texas Medicaid waiver program that provides long-term services and supports to individuals with IDD so they can live in community settings rather than institutions.
The goal of HCS – IDD services is to enhance independence, integration, and quality of life for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the least restrictive environment possible.
